Computer learning driving habits, ?

Working on buying a New 04, F-350 V-10, 6-speed ,I have been reading here where the computer learns how you drive the vehicle in like the first 72 hours,,?? so in this case should I drive it like I normally will,, (Not gonna baby it) or should I drive it easy, I just want to know the best way to break it in to ( if possible ) get the best mileage out of it,, when I pick it up,,( if everything goes like I plan) it will be like an hour drive home,,20 or so miles on Interstate, then state hiway driving, with a few stop signs, like 50 miles to home.

Just looking for info on anyone elses experiences and maybe some insight on this topic. Great site

soon to be 10 burnin, 6 turnin,,gotta love-it

thanks,,,,,,,,Later,,,,,,,,,,Mark

The learning part is usually associated with the Automatic Transmission. It has an Adapative Learning Strategy for shift time and quality and duration.

Since youze gots a stick shift, well... Just drive the darn thing! But do be a bit easy the first few hundred miles to allow everything to get to know each other.
