Boots up

Just to make sure - you always install shock absorbers so you can read the label, right? Bilstein 5100s have the dust boot on top then. (Rear shocks).

The correct way to mount it is as shown with the boot down and the label facing so it is not upside down. So, If you are not sure which way is up on your shocks or wonder if you can mount them either way, always look at the Bilstein logo. If it is upside down, so are your shocks!

I just bilsteins on and the boots go to the bottom. You can see there are drain holes in the bottom of the boots-the tops do not have drain holes.

According to the Bilstein website, if the logo is upside down, so is your shock. On my 5100s, logo upside right = boot up.
