Is it worth it to upgrade from A6 to a A10 or A11 SD card, not from Ford for $140 but Amazon $49 to $69. Last time it seemed it was mostly POI updates not road updates.

Denny,
I just bought an A11 card for my 2015 (was A5) from eBay for $41.00, free shipping. I got it today, but I’m away for the weekend, so I won’t be able to install it until next week. I also have the latest SNYC update on a USB, ready to install. I’m not sure if I should do the USB upgrade before I install the new SD card, or if it doesn’t matter. Anyone know?

Dosen't really matter because the USB update is software and the SD card is map information. Would like to know how if the A11 card is worth it, I won't be using the truck until Oct so I have time.

I haven't picked up a new card yet but I did download the newest software update and the little bit that I've used it is a improvement.
We finished our 2900 mile trip to Yuma the other day and used the nav system most of the way. After the 3.10 software upgrade and all the lockups I experienced before installing the A11 SD card I wasn't sure what to expect but so fare the sync system hasn't locked up and I've been able to find every address I wanted to enter, we used it in NE, KS, MO, AR, LA, MS, TX, NM and AZ without any problems as far as updated roads it was great. The only bug I found and that was software is if you have a route and you tell it to avoid a road, in my case a interstate it will do it just fine but if you turn the truck off when it restarts it will go back to its original route , it happened to me twice. The second time I was south of Dallas and north of Austin on 84 and it keep on taking me to the interstate either north or south of us even after telling it to avoid both of them but we solved the bug by shortening our destination but I also could have used way points. I've always liked the way it guides us through cities on interstates and it still does a good job doing that and the voice commands work better but I don't use them very often because it's still strange how the commands are setup IMO. Overall it was a good upgrade and I'm glade I did it and would recommend it.
