Sir Captain Thomas Moore
So in this world of foolish stupidity where the word "hero" has been so diluted we're handing that title out to 6 year olds or coffee bar workers here we have a shining example of a humble man who set out to do just a little, the world responded by raising just about $40 MILLION DOLLARS for the UK's National Health Service---he wanted to give a little back. Good lord I feel like a worthless slacker now.......
Upon Boris Johnson's nomination Queen Elizabeth so appropriately knighted Capt Moore---now he has another well deserved title---hail great men like this regardless where we find them.
God Speed Sir Moore--you're an inspiration!

Great post...some positive news in this gloomy world. I read about Sir Thomas when he started his walk and was amazed at the amount of $$$$ he raised. I believe Sir Captain has been promoted to Colonel. Truly an inspiration.
