Ford 460 swap options

Ford 460 swap options
So upon finding out my Godzilla engine I was swapping in was crap, I wanted some advice. I dont have a tok of money but I want alot of power for kinda cheap. My budget is $5,000. I have a 76 F100 with a 302 and a 3 on the column. I have co sided a 460 swap. How feasible is this?

Not hard at all. you just need to find the parts. I'd buy a junker f-250 with a 460 and have everything you need if it were me.
ditch the 3 speed and do a 4spd or even easier a C6 . it's going to be hard to do all this for 5k though if the engine needs much work.

Why not find a used, built 302 stroker on Craigslist and just swap it in?
