Information display screen

My information display screen went dim when I started up my truck and only parts of the screen were visible through streaks of light. Happened for about 20 minutes and then came back on. It wasn’t the dimming switch. The only thing I could think of was the heat because I live in Phoenix and driving with the ac on almost max cooled down something to make it work again?

that would be a negative....they test these things in some rough conditions and I'd probably take it to the dealer if it happens again.

I live in Texas...I know its hot but not Arizona hot...my truck thermometer has shown 110 once this year...most other days have been 105 or less when the sun is out and no clouds.

Thanks. It’s been pretty hot lately and hasn’t happened since. Knock on wood.
