DTC Code P70A3
I realize that this is a truck forum and Iv'e been a member for many years but I have a non truck related issue. 2013 Ford Focus Auto trans is showing the code P70A3 Transmission Friction Element A is Stuck On. The trans bogs down when shifting to 2nd gear and then there's a delay in the gas pedal and bucking while driving. I saw a video that said the negative ground to battery may be the issue. I cleaned the contact points and cleared the code. The car ran good for about the usual 50 miles then the light came back and the problem returned. Does anyone here know of this issue and is the a fix that can be done without the dealer's involvement? Thanks for any advise.
