PO756 Trans code

I have a 96 ranger 4.0 auto 4x4 that was pulling a PO756 code. So I went the route of changing the valve body,solinoids, filter and 7qrts of fluid . put it all back together and I am still having the same problem. flashing O/D at about 60mph and it won't shift from 2-3 unless I let off the gas When I dropped the pan there was nothing in it except a little sludge Any and all help would greatly be appreciated

Does it still report the same P0756 code?

Yea its the only code that shows and still doing the same thing

The only way that code can set is if the electrical circuit is good AND the solenoid doesn't move when it should. Only a bad solenoid can set this code.

Thanks I will try and switch out the solenoid and see what happens
