Wow, what a difference! Swapped out the ecu's and got the following results:
Starts right up, either hot or cold
No more smoke
Idles nicely
More power
No more stalling on acceleration
No more CEL
However, still having a problem on acceleration. Step on the gas, and the truck vibrates with the engine doing a "fast stutter". Power during acceleration is decent, but is lacking. Fuel pressure shows 32 at idle and 40 at WOT. No vacuum leaks. Haven't checked timing yet, but any thoughts on what might be the issue now? As a part of my troubleshooting, the MAP sensor and TPS are new, so hopefully they aren't the problem. Thanks for the advice - way ahead of where I was just two days ago!
