I hear you are the wizard with decoding VIN's. Can you lend a hand on the F600 I recently picked up? F61EVY41769. Thanks in advance for any help!

Our regular decode member has taken up other interests. (But may be back from time to time.....

IF the last 6 digits of the VIN are C70167, this is a 1967, not a 1968. Warranty Plate is filthy, very hard to read.

38 = Pittsburgh PA Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

0005 = Domestic Special Order number, truck special ordered by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."
