Love the topper! I have been looking for one but no luck yet.
The pinion angle should be a few degrees off to account for the loaded position of the suspension while driving with leaf springs.
The only time you want perfectly parallel drive train is when you have link style suspension. If a link style system has soft bushings you may still want a 1/2-1 degree difference in pinion angle.
Pressure washed truck last night, definitely could tell it was a farm truck. Still not convinced it’s worth fixing. Frame looks good but body is ruff, needs cab mounts, floors and rockers. Hope to find a clean truck to swap body. Bed is not to bad but lots of dents and some rust. Hood and both front fenders are junk and core support is junk too. Both door bottoms are ruff, passenger side not to bad but drivers is. Motor is junk drained about 5 gallons of water out of it.
Beautiful truck!
