Hi! Please direct me to the correct sub forum if this is not the right place!
The truck i own today was imported from the states or canada in 2003. The original equipment papers are non existent so i am searching for a place where i can search or contact a dealer in states or canada regarding my truck's original equipment.
The truck was originally delivered with marking lights on the top cab. Now here in Norway those things are illegal unless i can prove to the right folks that it was original from the manufactor.
Cars and trucks sold in the US come with a Monroney Label (aka “window sticker”) attached to the inside of one window. Ford USA may be able to provide you a copy of the original — for a small fee, of course.
Another option might be to try this website linked below. Either way, you’ll need your truck’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
^ This brings up what may be an important point. Roof clearance lights are standard on an F350 with dual rear wheels, as shown in the picture above. The clearance lights are a factory option on F250s and F350s with single rear wheels.
One way to show your local authorities that the five clearance lights are original equipment is to remove one for inspection. The mounting holes are clearly punched and painted at the factory rather than aftermarket.
Appears from the ETIS info, the truck was an export and sold in Europe? It states for export, KPH should be the outer ring on the speedo and not MPH, uses low sulfur (LSD not ULSD) and no catalytic convertor (no clean emissions) maybe?
