Key stuck in ignition

Key stuck in ignition
This has probably been addressed before but I can’t find the thread....sorry. Anyway, my 2000 f250 7.3’s key is stuck in the ignition. When I pulled the cylinder out, the bearing between the cylinder and the gear was broken. I got a new one, but I’m not sure I put it in correct because the key still won’t come out! Any help or ideas are much appreciated!
