New Transponder key
Hello,
I recently bought a new tronsponder key. I had it cut at a local key shop. It opens doors, but when I went to program it, I discovered that the key won't turn in the ignition. It is just jammed.
I emailed the guy who sold me the key and he sais it wasn't cut right. He said I need to gently pull it out as I'm turning the ignition to the run position so that I can find the right position.
I was wondering if it might be something in the tronsponder. Does it jam up the key if it's the wrong transponder or something like that?
Any advice would help.
