On my old black panel '81 E-150 (Easy Bake) I installed a dual battery system and a stiffer alternator on account of all the extra electrical stuff I had in her. I grafted on a battery shelf on the opposing side (as yours is) from a junkyard E 350 and I was pleased that it bolted right up. The battery on the right (passenger side) was my Primary battery and just next to it on the fender was an old school Isolater, I put the breaker on the other inner fender. When all was said and done it look to me it came that way way.
