i was given a 1986 Fleetwood motor home that was built on an e350 chassis. the only problem i have is the neutral safety switch and the fuel pump. i bypassed the neutral switch to get it home but the aftermarket fuel pumps died thank God it was flat or downhill most of the way home. got it home and found out the fuel pumps in the back had died. tried to look it up online but i was told there are two fuel pumps, one the engine, and one in the tank. i could not find one on the engine and both in the back died and i haven't dropped the tank to see if there is one in there. i also need to get two batteries because i had to give the old ones back to my father. where do i find a book on this motor home? Fleetwood says to go to ford and ford says to go to Fleetwood. is this the right forum?
I recall on older Ford trucks, that sometimes they ran off one external pump and had a manual valve, on the driver side seat mount area and you would switch from one pump to the other.
