Carb identification
The part number is E4TE-9510-FA.
Mostly, I'd like to know what the the whole part number means so I can get an appropriate EGR valve to go with it.
The calibration number for the truck is 4-51H-R00.
Any help would be appreciated, as I'm pretty much in the dark on calibration code meaning.
Thanks
I'm the second owner after the Canadian Forestry Service.
I'm on the second engine, however, the computer works and all the other emission components check out.
I replaced the original carb once upon a time and even with the best tune ever, I can't get more than twenty miles to the gallon out of it whereas it used to average thirty.
I'm in the process of rewiring everything so I figured I might as well try to achieve that magic number.
I've got some time on my hands right now what with the pandemic.

If you are seeing a drop in fuel economy the most likely suspect is the O2 sensor.
Also, Ethanol fuel can have a big impact on fuel economy.
To be honest since nowhere in Canada is going to require you to have a tailpipe sniff you could just disable the feedback carb system and use an earlier carb you will pick up fuel economy and power to boot. I would not worry too much about the EGR valve they really almost never go bad unless they start leaking (Not sealing between intake and exhaust) or get plugged up.
And the EGR valve not functioning is not negatively going to impact fuel economy not having it functioning will actually improve it.
