TRICON, Which fuel wheel is that? I can not find a 0 offset with fuel. I stopped at a vendor. He called and was told only custom wheels and special order can get 0 offset. Also, any tire rubbing?
Thanks for the info. Yes I am really close to max payload with dirt bikes and gear in the trailer. I am running bags at 60psi to level the truck under load which helps a ton. Power wise I can get up and over any mountain pass with ease, these 6.7s are amazing.
What lift do you have?
That's a beautiful rig, you ever get any white knuckle moments with it now? My buddy has a Cyclone 4005 I think it is? Its like a 20k GVWR and almost 4.2k lbs pin weight even though the dealer said it was 3.5k lbs. He upgraded to a DRW because he was really uneasy on how it towed. The 6.7 can definitely handle it though, truly a great motor. I have the Carli 2.5" lift, I just bought my own 2.5 Fox Shocks and valved them the way I wanted them. Awesome lift, really comfortable loaded or unloaded, highway is great, offroad is even better.

Fuel Maverick, I just looked it up, Fuel doesn't make a 0 offset, they make all their wheels in a 1 offset....Its exactly a 5" backspace, which I always go by backspacing and not offset as offset changes with wheel width (e.g. a 0 offset on a 9 in wide rim is not the same as a 0 offset on a 10 in rim) but back spacing is the same no matter what. You want around a 5" BS to get no rubbing. I have no rubbing anywhere, and I flex enough to get wheels off the ground. Its weird that they would say they dont make a 0 offset...why not just say no we have a 1 offset. There's no discernible difference.

The SRW with bags does ok, a DRW is better for sure. I pulled it from Michigan to WA last year when I bought with a F450 but have pulled it ever since with my F350 without any problems. In April I was in Utah and had some extreme side winds, we got moved around a bit but no real white knuckles. With the triple axles it stays stable. The only time I get a little worried is when Im passing a light duty truck pulling a bumper pull trailer in windy conditions, they tend to get pushed around so I worry about them crossing into my lane.
My Cyclone 4007 is 15882 lbs dry, not sure what the tongue weight is and I have never pulled it with the fresh water filled. Water alone would add close to 1000 lbs. Our bikes are lite so I feel pretty good about the truck not being over loaded.
All that said I am considering a 15/16 F450, my truck is now a 3rd vehicle so I dont have to drive it into the city very often which is why I didnt go DRW initially.

You may want to hit the CAT scale. My buddy has a 4005 which is listed similar factory weight as yours. Loaded he is 21,000 lbs. He pulls with 450. It does well, no bags etc. You are right, the triple axle does help.

Yeah 21,000 is possible if he is completely filling his fresh water, fuel tanks and maxing out his garage payload with a side by side, sleds, quads etc. We run pretty light. 2-3 dirt bikes, water tanks empty and some fuel and gear. Im sure Im slightly overloaded based on Ford's ratings but I feel like the truck is doing fine. But again a 450 would be the best choice, just didnt want to drive a DRW daily, now that I wont have to Ill most likely make that change.
