Agree here. Drive it for a while and get to know it. I'm still using the stock brakes which are perfectly adequate. I only did the engine upgrades only because I rebulit it.

If you want headers, expect to pay $600+ for a set that are well made and won't be problematic over the years. Look for something with features like, 16 Ga or thicker tubing, 3/8" flanges, ceramic coated, ball and socket type collector fittings. The rams horn exhaust manifolds are nice and won't cause any issues. How they flow compared to headers, I don't know. I'd think they flow plenty well for a 272 motor.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think I will enjoy driving the truck for awhile the way it is. Hopefully make some changes a little bit at a time. I'm just happy to be tooling around in it now. This was my dream truck so I'm happy either way. Norm
