74 Crewcab 4x4

Today I sold my 68 bronco (not running) for $700.00 cdn.
However I also aquired Today a74 crewcab 4x4 pb,power ram assist for less then what I sold the bronco I was wondering if anyone could tell me more this is the VIN #F26YCV88887
axle code: B4R
trans. code: A

With all this going on today I even managed to #uck up my rearend (DANA 60) in my 67 F250 4x4 4.56 gears. IT'S TIME FOR THE DETROIT LOCKER does anyone have any opinion on this subject or other aftermarket locker and a price range (cdn) I don't want this happening again and money isn't a problem.

Has any one done this I've checked the search but found only people talking about DANA 60 in 1/2 ton back in the 60's
this however is a completely different subject.

All 3/4 tons had the Dana 60 that I have ever seen except one that had a 70. I think the deroit locker would be a good choice. I put a limited slip in my years ago and it was great for a few years but I have noticed that the cross bite has faded. I suppose the clutch packs are wearing out. Since it was originally designed to slip at 260 ft. lbs. of torque it isn't as agressive as the detroit locker or some of the others. I have thought that an air locker would be cool but I have no expereience with them.

It's a limited slip that at the flip of a switch turns into a locker. Pricey but i think it would be the way to go on a long wheelbase ride like a crewcab. I'd love to put a set of these on my crew for this winter! I like tractech products.

I'm not putting the locker in that truck I'm putting it in my 67 f250 4x4 what is life expectancy on the stock gears the truck does have 4.56 I try and baby her but It's hard when you have this much truck
