6.0 Thumping Intake
So I have a 2006 f250 that suddenly started having a popping noise in the intake. I thought maybe I bent a pushrod or broke a rocker arm. So I tore off both valve covers and used the starter wire to watch the valves and rockers, and they all seem to move up and down okay. I don't see any broken rockers and all bridges are still there. Anything else to check while I have the covers off? What else could be the cause ? Bent valve ? Lifter ? Any help would be appreciated.

Does the truck have a drive ability issue? Contribution faults? If you positive it’s pushing compression back into the intake and you don’t see valve train issues there’s a chance you have a damaged valve or seat but I would expect a driveability concern as well as contribution would be low on the offending cylinder.
