Huge props to performancetrailerbraking.com I desperately needed a disc brake kit and they delivered quick. Ordered last Thursday, showed up today. Fortunately they had someone cancel and were able to cram me into the shipping schedule. The kit is fabulous and includes everything minus some loctite, grease, and brake fluid.
I had checked with stopyourtrailer.com and their price was great but their shipping schedule didn’t work with my timeframe. Otherwise both companies are top notch.
switched out some worn drums and electric brakes today and tomorrow I run some hydraulic lines.
Just wondering, how did you lift the trailer? I am considering replacing my leaf springs and doing brakes, but 13k pounds seems liek it would need a few very heavy duty jack stands, not to mention the jack to lift one side. I just hate having someone else do the work if I can do it myself.

I used the leveling system then once it was up I put jack stands under the axles and lowered it on to them. Pretty easy. I’ve also used a floor jack before and done one axle at a time. It works but it’s a longer process.

Ah ok, I don't have that leveling system. I am going to have my work cut out for me or just pay a guy down the street to do it....which I HATE to do. I also don't wanna a trailer to fall on me, sooooo. Thank you for the heads up!

4 jack stands and a pump jack will get one side up at a time with no problem.
I tried the MORryde SRE4000 too. Keep a close eye on them. I'm changing mine out after my second problem. I have the same brake system and love it. I use the leveling system also most of the time. I do have two 20 ton jacks and six ton jack stands to use as well.
You guys will never go back to electric drum brakes after having disks, I upgraded 5 years ago and if I ever buy a different trailer the first upgrade will be disk brakes. One thing to watch for if you are using the intergraded controller in your truck is if you disconnect the battery it will revert back to electric brakes and you have to go in and change it back to hydraulic.

What issues did you have with the SRE4000? have about 5000 miles so far no issues.

Or if I change the truck battery's? or every time I connect I'll have to reset?

Just when the battery is changed or disconnected, I have sync2 so when it locks up I disconnect the battety to reset it so it gets disconnected a few times a year.
It well still work on the electric setting but not near as good. Electric brakes are current based and get all their power from the truck controller but hydraulic disk use a reference voltage from the truck and draws it's power from the trailer battery, its also important to make sure the truck is charging the trailer batterys.

Thanks I'll watch it. I don't have any problems with the sync3 but I do get and emission error on occasion but clear that with the SCT. Don't recall the error number, something about xx being disconnected. It was on a recall & I had the recall done but still get the error.

I had the SRE4000 on for a few trips and we were happy with them. Even a coast to coast trip and all looked good. Then on an 8,000 mile trip around Alaska I had a failure on the way home in Canada. Both sides dropped to the frame leaving the shackles up against the frame. I wrote to MORryde and they said they would send out the replacement parts quickly. They get an A for outstanding service.
Later I had another start to delaminate after a few hundred miles.
What ever the problem is, I have had enough. I'm changing the system out. We have friends who have not had any problems with them on the same model trailer. I had thought about adding a rubber bump stop so if it failed again it would not drop all the way to the shackles but that would be a band aid. I mentioned it only as a warning to be sure to keep an eye on the rubber inside the SRE4000. The company sure reacted quickly and got me the replacement parts quickly. For that I am grateful.
