Ford f250 ac
I don't think they do? What happens now if you turn on the defrost? You should get air blowing out.
I don't have the AC working yet in my 81 F100 so I don't know my AC compressor turns on & off when you have the defrost on but I could have used it last weekend to clear the windshield.
I had to crack the door windows and turn on the defrost with a little heat to clear them. Not fun when it was pouring and 88* out but was best to see where I was going.
So you should not have to do anything with the pulleys just leave everything where it is and everything inside should work other than the AC.
If the AC system has no charge then to compressor will never turn on.
Then again I may not have understood the question?
