Glad you asked this.I was just looking at these last night.I've been looking for a cold side I could PC myself, and this is one of very few that are available.I''l be watching this tread.
I have looked at these in the past as well and seem to be fairly popular. At the end of the day they are bit pricy but not outrageous if consider cold side pipe is $250, hot side is $250, intake is $350 and then you have the main connection into the engine, not sure what those run. The main downside that I have seen is that they will not work on stock trucks and the EGR has to be put on a diet. Not sure if yours is still stock or if it has gone on a diet.
Anyone install these pricey intakes? They look real sweet but are they worth the coin in performance or fuel savings?
I use to run a Cummins powered drag truck. Tried numerous different intakes systems including Pusher, and I was never really able to detect a difference between those intakes and the stock one. There are just too many other tighter places to push the air through such as the intercooler and head. Cold air intakes do work, but the factory intakes seem do a good job of this nowadays as long as you have a good filter.
Pusher intakes not emissions compliant off road use only
I was going to order the full kit for my 6.7
shoe stopper was the website said the system is not emissions compliant and was for off road use only.
didn’t buy an 82k truck just to just it off road.
dont understand what the problem is since all censors get transferred and the only real interruption is the crank case vent which goes free air instead of the stock intake.
im at a loss on this one. 1200 bucks and you would think in today’s age...this wouldn’t be a problem.
I watched the install video and noted the the throttle plate that provides the intake vacuum to enhance the EGR flow was removed. This modification to the intake no doubt removes all the emission compliance from the Pusher system.
Any intake system like this, Maryland Diesel included, are if you're deleting your truck completely with tunes. Which is why it states off road use only, that's their way of trying to not get in trouble with the EPA lol.

Did you call and ask them? I think it may simply be so they can sell in all 50 states and avoid regulations.
