Rear door actuator replacement

I replaced my real door actuator on my 2006E350 it works but when I use the front door lock every thing is dead fuse is fine but when I go back and unlock or lock from rear door it works fine. I test the front and it works then the next day same issue won't unlock from either driver or passenger door. I have to go back to the rear door, I bought a Ford one not a Dorman. What could be my issue.

Also can I use a 2007 mirror on my 2006 I don't like the split mirrors rather just have one full size and use a spot mirror thanks for any info or help.

Your door lock issue is due a wiring problem somewhere in the van. The Dorman part might be okay but I don't use the cheaper parts so have no experience with their quality or longevity.

Exterior mirrors are pretty much interchangeable beginning in 2003 all the way through the EOL regular production, same thing applies to the cab/chassis or "cut aways". On my 2003 and 2005 E-Series I'm running mirrors configured as 2007/2008's which are one large mirror rather than those pathetic dual element versions. I'm also test driving a side view camera system with thoughts of adding that to give me a much wider and better view of traffic to the sides of my van.

The camera idea sounds great. Thanks for your input on my issue. Will be tackling it this week I have a feeling the issue is in the switch in the back door. It's just strange how everything works one day then stops the next.
