Door lock actuator

I have traced the problem down to a door lock actuator that is froze up. Does any one have any input on where a person might find a replacement part? It is for the left rear door. (Ford wants $165), it is easy to see why Ford is losing market share. Thanks, Bill

I'd try a junkyard, er........auto parts recycling facillity. Should be interchangable with more than "ford truck left rear door".

go by your local circuit city and pick one up for 20 bucks. it's just a standard two wire actuator which you can use with your factory wires in the door. had to replace both on mine. and since i work at cc i just picked them up there.
