1993 f150 injector problem

1993 f150 injector problem
Not sure where to start but I heard a ticking noise under the hood of my rebuild 351w. I narrowed it down to what I had thought was a loud injector so I unplugged the connector it to verify it was that and truck died immediately and won’t start back up. I can get it to run but maybe for 10 seconds tops With gas to the floor and very bad idle. I also heard a electrical zap in the injector area as I turn the key to on position but it sounds it could be from the pip. So any ideas where to look? All I did was unplug the injector now runs like s***. I always look on these forums and you guys help a lot but this is something that I can’t look up.

Update, coil was sparking uncontrollably with key on engine off every time for a minute turn key on, when I have the pip unconnected it doesn’t do it. Power from pip to tfi has continuity. Also made the signal with a jumper wire to fire a spark with a test light and it worked. I sure as hell shocked my self getting around the coil wires. Is there supposed to be resistance between the to?
