I have a 2000 F250 with the 7.3 and my wife blew the left front tire a while back which pulled the Abs senor plug apart. I can't find where to plug it back in is my problem. I have looked behind the fender well like I have been seeing on where the plug should be but it's not there so I'm trying to find where the other end of that plug would be so I can trace it down and plug it back in.
I tried following the right side but i lose it when it gets above the fender well. So now I have my air box and battery box pulled out so I can see the abs module and still can't find the plug. I've traced every wire loom coming out of the module and still nothing.
Ok I pulled the left fender well down and found the 2 wires that used to go to the plug on the truck side. Now my question is can I cut the plug off the sensor side and hard wire them together?
Yes you can, use crimp connectors and heat shrink. Ideally you'll go to the junkyard and cut a harness out of a truck and splice that in so the abs sensor replacement is easier later.
