ABS Light

My ABS light came on yesterday. It usually comes on during rainy days and shuts off when it dries out, but now its on for good. Any ideas where to begin? 96 Eddie bauer, 5.8L.

Check the VSS sensor connection above the rear differential. While there, you may also want to remove the fill plug, and see if there are excessive amount of metal shavings stuck to the magnet in the fill plug.
