Tootsie Rolls!

Thought this was funny. The folks at mid fifty forgot to throw in some brackets for my order. They noticed on their own and sent them in a small box that showed up the same day as the rest of my order. The best part? Tootsie rolls are back!

I know there have been some gripes about emails and shipping time during the pandemic but I think they've done a great job overall.

Yeah, I received an order from Mid Fifty this last Monday and for the first time in a few months there were Tootsie Rolls in it.

It is funny how such a little thing can surprise us. I remember the very first order from Mid-Fifty, I did not know about the tootsie rolls. I went " wow '. what a nice thing to do.

Now I gotta order something! I didn't get Tootsie Rolls in my last order and I missed them... They are ingenious for doing that - a small personal touch really makes a difference!

Of course, I went to put some stuff on the grill after taking the picture and when I came back both of the little kids were chewing on a Tootsie roll! Then they ran off with the other ones in hand so I didn't get to partake in the treat!

Sometimes when you get the parts and can't figure out how you are going to do something, you pop a tootsie roll in and that starts the thinking machine. Pretty soon you have figured out just how get the job done.
I think Tootsie Rolls are a food group all of their own.....Brain food!

I got my order Thursday, no tootsie rolls! I figured they were a thing of the past only to be reminisced about while telling car stories to your buddies.

Chewing things like Tootsie Rolls or gum does get more oxygen to your brain . And maybe the sugar gives you a lift. So your theory about brain food might be on track.

Glad the Tootsie Rolls are back! I just received parts from MF week before last. None there. The Tootsie Rolls are really important. After telling my wife I ordered parts she looks forward to the Tootsie Rolls and doesn't mind the money I just spent on the parts.
