ok here's a good one for ya'll.last weekend I had a bit of a brain fart.I was driving mabey a lil too fast for the rainy conditions and as I went around a bend I hit a patch of standing water hydro plened did a 180 and hit the curb and up onto the median I went. now besides blowing the right side rear tire off the rim I obviously did some damage to the front end.I have since replaced the drag link and tie rod(link rod).when i start the engine the steering wheel instantly spins to full lock right hand turn.I'm lost as to the cause any help would be greatly appreciated.
If it ain't that you might want to see if there are any wires plugged into your steering box. If there is, major surgery is probably in your vehicle's future.

I know the full right lock can happened when the lines are not hooked up correctly and a few mechanics have badly broken their arms when they started the trucks by reaching through the steering wheel. Something Ford old timers warned me about.
I would guess you have probably broken your steering box, especially if you hit hard enough to bend a drag link, that takes some doing. You should check your frame (the back side inside the channel) and see if it is cracked, then jack up the truck again and see what happens in that area while turning the wheels back and forth with the truck OFF.
