Hi all, I have a 47 Mercury M3 with what appears to be a hydraulic dump for the original bed. The original rear frame has been cut to facilitate bed dumping. Right now I have it in a shop and we were going over the interior. Is there any restoration companies out there that make premade headliners, door pieces, seat frames and the like or at least able to get original sample materials? The original stuff let's say is lacking even for making patterns. I would kind of like to keep to the original side if possible. I know that there are companies to completely reproduce Model A's and even the original model Mustangs. Anything like that for 47 Mercury/Fords pickup cabs?
I used a headliner kit from Mac's cause it was on sale and they had a deal on shipping. It's OK which is more than I can say about Mac's usual stuff. But if I had it to do over again I'd go with these guys: https://www.quietride.com/catalogpdf...72_catalog.pdf JMO
Joe's Antique Auto is an excellent choice for parts. Joe is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and an all around good guy. His prices are fair and shipping is fast and reasonably priced. IMO. If Joe doesn't have what you need he will help with suggestions of where to get it. Another source would be Chuck's Trucks: https://chuckstrucksllc.com/
