I have a 1968 Ford f250 Camper Special that I have taken apart and sanded it down and had it shot with epoxy primer. I'm putting it all back together now and am having a fit trying to get the break lights and tail lights to work. They all worked before I took them apart and I hooked them back up (just plug them in) and all I have working is the turn signals. I bought new bulbs too. I have power going to each unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
If you include this: site:www.ford-trucks.com in the search bar, google will pull up dozens of FTE threads on most of the common problems these trucks have. I have found many answers to my questions over the years this way.
I would look real hard at my grounds. Those lights ground through the mounting surfaces so a coat of new primer could cause problems. Try a jumper wire from the mounting screws to the frame.

You were spot on davelj! I would never have thought the housing was the ground. Thanks again everyone!
