Have an 17 XLT f250. 120k mile. Have no heater function what so ever. AC works, blower works, all other functions work. Anyone experience this problem? Can't seem to identify a fuse that would control this. Don't believe I have the interior fuse panel either. Can't seem to find it if I do
Forgot to add that the truck runs at normal operating temps
There's a baffle deep inside the dash that switches airflow across the heater core. That may have failed. It's also possible that it's just a little sticky. Did you ever change the cabin air filter? It might be all gross and things are floating around in the ducts. You could try changing the filter if it needs it, then try switching the temps from cold to hot for a while and see if it moves again. I'm not expert on that it's just a thought.
One thing I am an expert on is a mouse might have made a home inside your duct work. If you've noticed a kind of moldy woodsy smell that's it.
One other thing: if your truck has the auto climate controls (not sure if that's on XLT) it's possible the temp sensor has failed. Take it off auto mode and put it on HI to see if you get any heat in that case.
My truck came with the two sides sensors crossed, so it would always make one side hot and one side cold no matter what on auto.

when in auto the heat in my truck doesn’t blow from the dash vents, but from the floor and demisting vents on the windshield. On manual it will blow from the selected zone. Anyone else notice this?
also when turned up to max and on auto same thing, but hit the fan speed switch and all hell breaks loose. Is this normal?

On auto, the heat should come through the window defrost and floor only.
If you have it on auto and hit the fan speed switch, the auto should shut off. On auto, you can only adjust the temp. If you change distribution or fan speed, auto should shut off.
It took me a few months to get used to the auto but now I love it. Watch the dual zone button. I had it pressed accidentally and set to the lowest temp for one morning drive. Passenger side was blowing ice cold while drivers side was blowing hot. Took me about 10 minutes to realize the dual zone was active and that’s the reason why my legs were freezing but my upper body was melting. Lol

Managed to locate the blend door actuator and it's functioning properly, replaced filter about a month ago, still clean. Coolant level seems fine. Anyone have any ideas? Only other thought is the lines to the heater are stopped up by something or maybe the AC compressor is stuck on. Any help is extremely appreciated.
