Flooor Shift Option
Has anyone used the Hurst Mastershift Shifter and Installation kit on their truck to convert to a floor shift? I have a 390 and 3 speed toploader in my 55 F100 and I just ordered this shifter and I wanted to see if anyone had installed it and if it worked well. It says it is supposed to work for years 63-87.

Hurst shifter
I had a Competition Plus 4 speed shifter in my 68. I had to make an extension for the handle to have it even with the top of the seat. You will never wear it out if it is still made the same way.

Thanks for the info! The guy I talked to didn't know much about it and didn't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. It is good to hear that it worked with your truck.
