The Northstar I have in my 68 weighs 75 lbs and it does give my truck a lean on the right and I plan on addressing that soon with adjustable coil overs.
if I were to add a coils spacer to one side only, it wont jack up the ride? As in I hit bumps and the 2 springs react differently?
I just learned something about this while working on my front suspension yesterday. The front coil springs sit on top of a spacer. These spacers are different heights. In most cases, the taller spacer goes on the right, passenger side. This is intentional in order to level the truck. If your truck's spacers were removed before and then accidentally replaced on the wrong sides, it would make the truck lean by a factor of two times the difference is spacer height.
My truck's spacers are only a quarter inch in difference. However, while researching this I found applications where the difference was up to three quarters of an inch. It's very easy to measure them.

Maybe this will help.

I’m going through this too so awesome information to know. What spacers did you use ?
Hello oft.
I managed to find a bit of a solution by accident while working on my 79 f150. When I purchased my truck, it came with a set of worn out, (and incorrect) radius arm bushings. I later swapped them out last summer. And even though it did not fully eliminate the leaning toward the passenger side, there was however, a dramatic improvement. Wasn't sure if that was something you had checked on your truck. Hope this helps.
