They're just small carriage bolts and if they're rusted enough they'll just spin in the strip. Your only real choice is cutting, either with a torch or a grinder.
Got em out today. Out of all the bolts in the bed only 2 came out freely. The rest I had to dig out the wood around each bolt and vice grip it. Used a lot of PB blaster.I think I'd rather swap a buick dynaflow trans outside in the rain next to the freeway than go through that again. Plus none of the boards I can use for a pattern since my brother works wood and wants to do them for me.Are there any patterns available?
