Clock and Date are frozen

Clock and Date are frozen
I've got 2012 Escape and both the date and clock read outs are frozen in time. I've tried everything I can think of to re-set them, but no joy. Is there a re-set button somewhere or would disconnecting the battery help to un-freezen them?
