So, you've done what so far to trouble shoot? Checked the fuses? Tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting?

When I removed the 7 year old Motorcraft battery, I removed the - first then the +. Went to parts store, gone for bout 1 1/2 hours then installed new battery in reverse order. New diehard battery started just fine. Noticed the CEL and battery light stayed on while key was on but not running. Then saw the radio was not working. Tried the remote start and horn beeps several times but never starts. Checked fuses which are all good. Disconnected Neg for bout 1 hour and same problem. Do I need to good to stealer to get it reset? Or is there some way to do it myself? Thank you for any help.

Maybe the battery is not fully charged, does the truck show its charging when its running? A low battery will keep the radio off. Is the security light flashing fast could be a security issue, battery might not be fully charged, or alternator might be bad .

I replaced my battery like 2 weeks ago my radio still plays and works but the display doesn't work unless the headlights are on. I was having battery drain issues and tracked it down to a pie aux adapter I installed over a year ago so I removed it. Battery hasn't drain since and the radio display works and doesn't work intermittently. I checked all connections and even charged the new battery. Maybe the radio is just going its 10 years old now. Anyone else have this problem?

Kind of sounds like the radio did you have it out when you took out the auxiliary tap maybe the connector has pulled loose and just needs to be pushed back in. Their are some on e-bay for around a $100 or it's perfect time to upgrade.
