Steering feels loose
I have a 2018 f350 6.7.
I have had it for about a month now. I can’t help but feel like the steering wheel is loose. There is quite a bit of play in it. Also when coming around corners it does not immediately turn back. I have to help it turn back to going straight.
anyone else experience anything like this?
i am going to take it in for an alignment next week to see if that could be an issue. I’m coming from a 2017 ram that had a much different feel.

Watch the first couple minutes of this video. I tripped across it and it has some really good info at the beginning and then gets into the detailed repair. This is an 07 model but....... watch it. 👍 How you say the steering wheel won’t come back tipped me off.

60 psi in the front 70psi in the back.

Some folks report that adding a dual stabilizer can cause some resistance when returning to center. Your truck doesn’t happen to have one, does it?

my steering stabilizer was ruined and needed to be replaced. Also my truck was so far out of alignment that they had to order some adjustable cambers?? Or something like that. Once aligned and new stabilizer bar added at factory spot it was good to go.
