Leaf spring shackles?
I'm needing to raise the rear of my 48 F1 about 2". It currently has TCI leaf springs with the axle hangers on the bottom on the axle, so using blocks won't work. The front control arms are level so can't lower the front to match. I'm considering longer shackles. Anyone have any experience doing this? I'm open to ideas. I suppose I could have the springs re-arched, but trying to save money in these hard times. Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue with my 56 F-100. A previous owner tried to lower the truck, but did not do any work on the front end. So mine has air shocks "temporarily" raising the truck in the rear. It works, but it is a stiff ride. I really need to fix it by pulling my rear axle, having a set of leaf spring perch mounts welded to the top of the axle tubes, and remove the old spring perches on the bottom. The one thing that might be a head scratcher is finding a set of rear shock lower mounts to go on the axle tubes. You can get weld-ons. The O.E. clamp on the axle tube style can be hard to find.
