Blower motor issues???

Hello everyone. long time reader first time poster. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I have a 2016 F250. I am having blower motor issues. I have checked all fuses and relays. The blower motor occasionally will kick on and work but most of the time no air moving. i pulled the plug off the blower motor and probed it with my multi-meter, with the **** in the full position i have 12.7 volts and at the lowest i have around 6.8-7.0 volts. it gradually falls and rises as it should with the **** according to the plug at the blower motor. I did notice that the lowest 3 options for blower speed all read the same 6.8-7.0 volts. i was originally thinking the blower motor control module/resistor but since i'm getting varying voltages at the blower plug i assume that is still good. The vents switch, it switches from hot to cold and my mirror heat works which is all in the HVAC controller which leads me to believe that isn't the issue either. does anyone have any ideas? this is my first vehicle with a blower motor control module and seeing as you have to remove the entire dash to check or replace it i would like to be as close to 100% sure that is the issue before i embark on that job. i did buy a new blower motor assuming that was my issue and when i plug the new motor into the plug on the truck i still get no response. Thanks for any help!

If you have 12+ volts at the blower motor most likely the motor is shot.

we have a 2014 had to replace the blower motor all that had to come out was the glove box, i hope they didn’t change it for 2016. If the new fans not working in the truck securely test it on the bench

if there’s power coming from the plug and the blower works with power maybe there’s something different about the plugs, is it possible they gave u the wrong one?
