Ford sync 3 build 19205 display question
I googled and could not find an answer
question is , is there a hot key or bottom that turns the display off from out side of the sync 3 software? I know I can go into the software and turn the display off.
i checked my console and steering wheel and no display off button is evident.
sometimes my display goes off, I can turn on the camera and see the camera display, but I don’t see a butterfly n to reactivate the sync 3 display.
any ideas?

Your post is a little confusing. But what I think you want to know is, is there an On/Off button for the Sync system (radio, etc.). Correct? If so, there is not one that I am aware of. When my screen locked up once, I had to shut the truck off completely. I let it sit for a minute or two, and started it back up, and all was well. But, a little clarity would help.

I’ve looked into it. There is no “hot key” to turn the screen off. I wish there was. Driving straight through the night, that screen gets bright, even on the lowest setting.
There is a way to do a master reset on the screen but I’ve never had to do it. Locked up on me once and worked fine after cycling the truck.

I don’t think my screen locked up since I was able to turn on the camera views.
The screen was off for audio and nav. Within the sync software there is a feature to turn the screen off and it will go on again at the next startup
My question is, is there a physical button that will turn the screen off for audio and nav.
During the screen off times, I can hit the camera button and the screen shows camera views so I know it’s not a screen physical problem.
