excursion dead after rain

so to make a long story short my windshield is cracked and haven't had a chance to get it fixed yet. it rained last night and now its dead no crank or anything.
I checked fuses and they are good, i checked the solenoid and starter and both are good. And i tried a fully charged battery. is there any relays or anything that would cause this?

if it makes a difference the radio was on by itself and the interior key alarm was dinging no matter if key is in or not.

Any ideas ? besides the obvious of get the windshield fixed

Not sure about the Excursions, but for the F-series, it;'s a typical water leak situation, gets into the fuse panel under the steering wheel, believe it or not. Probably not the crack causing it, more than likely, it's the "typical" leak that develops for some reason. Even my '01, I had already had the windshield replaced, so it wasn't the factory install, and it started leaking last year after being on for 15 years.

Same symptoms as yours - completely dead, refuses to do anything, certain things "on" no matter what, etc. While diagnosing it, the main problem I had was realizing it was a water leak. At some point, the battery was almost dead, and I tried to start it, and one of the relays stuck closed (contacts welded themselves shut). Drove me nuts. Replaced the relay. Kept doing weird things once in a while. Sold it.

DO NOT DELAY FIXING IT! Even if you have to throw a tarp over it to keep the rain out. Not sure if the guy got taken or not, but the guy who bought my '01 had his mechanic tell him he had to replace the entire fuse panel. Boy was he pissed off. Meanwhile, I had told him about it upfront that he needed to bring it to a glass place and get it checked. That bit of delay really cost him.

Yeah, symptoms of LWS (Leaky Windshield Syndrome).

Water got into the fuse-box etc and is causing the phantom operation of various things draining the battery.

Dry out the under-dash area and see if you get lucky.

Alright so here is an update.first I'm sorry I haven't responded, I cut my finger wide open working on a Dodge. But On my excursion I found fuse 116 In the engine fuse compartment blown but still will not start from the key. I tried swapping the relays and still no go. Does anyone have any ideas on which relay could be stuck or am I screwed? I took the dash off and tried to see if any water was trapped above the fuse box and didn't see any. I'm ready to just sell it and buy different.
