I did find some Texas doors….attached to a cab. The cab is titled. The cab and doors received sound deadening materials as well.
I noticed a that he also had a blasted and epoxy coated frame…which I brought home too.
It was a leaf spring frame, and it received a coil spring front axle from a 2007. Rebuilt the front axle using Spicer ball joints and steering parts….and oh, 4:10 gears to match the 2008 4:10LS rear axle. Denny’s Driveline for those parts. That rusty steering gear is from a 2015 F350.
The 2015 steering gear (it’s really nice, turns with minimal effort) presented a couple of challenges. 1) the bolts holding it to the frame are huge, and drilling the frame out is terrible. And 2) The bigger gear gets in the way of the front sway bar mount.

So then I found a 2008 4:10 LS rear…mounted that up. (had to remount one of the shocks on the frame). Installed a B&W turnover hitch and some air bags. New rear springs from ATS.
Also installed independent ride height sensors left and right.
Oh, you saw the air hose?
Viair 400c feeding a 3 gallon SSTL tank. And if you have OBA, you might as well have some access to air.
I had run the S&B intake, but I was never really happy with the Gen 1 fit and the cheesy battery tray, so some coin to RiffRaff and some left over 4” exhaust tube. It went together well, and with the SXE364.5, there is no increase in noise.
The bumper is a Move DIY. That was a fair amount of work, and the powdercoat company brought in a textured color that is a pretty good match for the Raptor grill.
The sandblasting brought out a few pin holes in the welds that I didn't get to address before the pain was applied...oh well.
Some LED lights from Super Bright LED rounds it out. When I had the dash out I did wire for the turn signals and heat for the mirrors.
I still have the interior to finish, the wait time from the Leather Seats covers is 5 weeks….and some NFab SSTL steps. I might (probably) go with pocket fender flares.
....but with all the sound deadening products in there....that's the bulk of the noise now. She drives straight and true, I would have liked the alignment shop give a bit more caster (it's 2.5 both, would have liked to see it up around 4). Now it's just checking/re-torquing things like the gooseneck hitch, spring u-bolts, any suspension brackets that were installed with the coil spring front.

Is the ride a lot smoother with that coil front? Have you gotten her up to speed to check for death wobble?

Death wobble....just had to go there didn't you?

Sorry. Touchy subject?
Nice. I was going to ask about the improved turning radius but then you took the wind out of my sails. Good to hear about the bigger brakes too.
