What to do with drinking Brandy
Does anyone know any good drink recipes that involve brandy? I don't have much in my liquor cabinet to start with, Jim beam, some kahlua (spelling?, it's the coffe liquor), and the brandy. What could I make with the brandy? I tried a brandy sour last night and it wasn't that great. I don't want to put my brandy to waste.

I thought Brandy was for sippin'...

I was looking to see if anyone here had a favorite drink that they wanted to share. Or if someone came up with some concoction that has never been published. BTW thanks for that website DainBramage.

Get your buddies over and pour some shots. You have to light it on fire first. When it's all gone the guy who has the most eyebrows left is declared the winner. El Presidente used to be my favorite.

Start with a 26er of straight alcohol, mix in large jug with 28oz of Welches grape juice and 4oz unsweetened grapefruit juice. This is supposed to be a ladies drink! Good luck! The name of this brew is "Purple Jesus". You'll understand real quick where the name came from!!!!

Try a Godfather sometime. It's in a small glass with ice. 2/3 scotch, 1/3 amarretto. It's an aquired taste, tastes good and works well. That's what I drink when there's no Sam Adams Boston Lager. Everyplace has scotch and amarretto. The first drink might be a little harsh on you, but after that, it's all good.
Oh btw, if you want to get rid of that Kalua, try a Godmother, I believe it's 2/3 scotch, 1/3 amarretto. Smoother taste.

Drink it straight (sip of course). I really like Fundador (an inexpensive Spanish brandy). I acquired a taste for it during a couple of extended business trips to the Philippines. It is very popular there.

I will drink brandy when I don't have courvorsie(spelling). I can't remember the ingredients anymore but a couple drinks using brandy are a brandy alexander and a sidecar. I don't drink much anymore but I prefer my alcohol unudulterated with other things If sipping brandy isn't for you, then try it on ice with a little water. I occasionally like a drink with fruit juice like dark rum and pineapple juice. If you plan to indulge the soda pop is bad as is margrita mix or collins mix.
