Temps are finally warming up and its time to fix some flaking pain on the roof and touch up arpund the truck. My paint code is 7B shadow blue poly on my 86 and just need help finding where to get paint that matches in bulk vs the little 8oz aerosols.
You should look for a professional automotive paint store near you. They'll be able to not only match the factory color but lighten/darken the color based on age, repairs and condition. Plus you'll be able to buy the paint however you want (i.e. SS vs BC/CC, acrylic enamel vs. urethane, etc.).

There are more stores in the Nashville area that do Paint, Go into your local Oreilly Auto store and they will direct you to a store with Paint Dept.
FWIW, I did use O'Reilly Auto Parts to get touch up paint for my 71 Oldsmobile 98 after painting it. I bought a pint of paint to brush on where the hood rubbed through the paint. They matched the color well. If you go to an auto parts store just make sure you talk to their "paint guy" or manager. I'm sure we've all had bad experiences with 16 year old kids that wok at auto parts stores.
O'Reilly Auto Parts in town here also carries auto paint supplies.
Only thing I found the few times I went in looking for something the paint guy was not in.
I did get the silver & clear for my bumpers from them.
But I got all my paint supplies from NAPA the next town over and the reason was the NAPA in town was the first place I was getting my supplies when I moved here.
They sold the store and the people that bought it moved next door to O'Reilly Auto Parts but no longer did the auto paint part.
I did find that the people that owned the auto paint NAPA had a store next town over.
So wanting to stay with the same brand of paint & supplies I started with I went next town over.
Because I was getting all my supplies from them (NAPA) I got them at jobber price.
