Ford dealer replaced batteries a couple months ago but they are leaking worse than the first set. Of course I'm over 30k miles now. Is there a fix or will this be a continuous problem?
Seems to be a common problem with them pushing acid out the vent caps, especially on the drivers side. A lot of guys have gone to AGM batteries to eliminate the problem. There have been a number of posts on the topic.
You can keep getting them replaced, and keep getting acid all over your truck. Or just suck it up at some point and get some AGMs. Ive had mine replaced twice, keeps happening.
I haven't seen the other thread, is there a generally accepted "best battery" to replace the two OEM ones?

There is no warranty past the original warranty end date for work that was paid for under warranty.
Right.
“X” part fails at 30k miles, covered under warranty if no outside influence and car isn’t out of warranty by time.
same part fails 6500 miles later at 36,500 and car now out of warranty, there’s no coverage. Could you argue/ask for goodwill assistance , sure, but that’s different.
same parts fails within 12mo/12k from the customer-pay repair, then there’s warranty (again if no outside influence)
But there is a warranty on the parts....not sure what kind of warranty the Motorcraft batteries carry.
The parts carry no warranty outside of the warranty they were replaced under. This is how it is, for example if the batteries are replaced and your base warranty expires in a hundred miles so does the warranty on the batteries.

Every replacement part that Im aware of caries a warranty, whether that is 90 day or 1 year. Most OEM parts carry a 1 year warranty. Are you saying that the individual part warranty is void if replaced under the vehicles warranty?
I got $100 for my OE leakers on CL too.... They were going in an older model so likely won't have the same issue. No clue why this is a 2017+ issue. Some have surmised overcharging. IDK...
