Reversing the Tailgate Latch
I've read that the tailgate latch can be reversed so that it is inside the bed instead of outside. Combined with a lockable topper, this enables improved security and a smoother look. I used the advanced search to see if anyone here has done this and documented the how-to of it but came up empty.
So, has anyone seen this kind of posting and can you share the link?

Thanks Bruce. Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking of. The seat belt idea that you cited is very cool too. Lots of stuff to think about. Now that I have a product name and vendor, it should be easier to find a tutorial on how to install it.
