Alternator Amperage???
1999 6.8L V10 SuperCab. Anybody know what the OEM alternator is rated at in amperage? And can I just drop in a 200 amp alternator? Or do I need some other upgrades? I'm running a 3000 watt inverter and a Group 27 Deep Cycle Aux battery. Thanks.

I bought one from here 140 amp for my 2001 7.3 diesel
I just re-visited the website.
Now I am thinking they sell primarily for diesel engines, but also list alternators for Many vehicles.
